As a Custom Home Builder on Cape Cod, REEF is always watching indicators in the housing market.  We came across an interesting article yesterday talking about a very exciting trend.  Apparently the Blackstone Group has plans to acquire 2,000 homes facing foreclosure.  Their plan is to rent them, and then sell them once the market strengthens over the next several years.  The bottom line is that large, savvy investors still see value in the marketplace and are positioning themselves for the inevitable resurgeance of a strong real estate market.
