The blog received a lot of attention. It seems many people are interested in watching the metamorphosis of an old, rundown cottage into a modern waterfront or water view Cape Cod home. The home I featured last week overlooks the dunes on the north side of the Cape, and Cape Cod Bay. Here’s another REEF project with southern exposure over a beautiful bay and river in Dennis. It’s the small one in the center of the first photo, right above the red and green buoys. You can see that the neighborhood has grown up around the old cottage. The scene is pretty tranquil now, as the photos were taken in November through January. However this area is alive with small boat activity in the summer, which will provide for endless hours of quiet enjoyment.  I’ll update the blog photos as construction progresses. The kitchen and living area, as well as most of the bedrooms in the home, overlook the water. It will be breath taking. Stay tuned…!  ![describe the image](https://info.capecodbuilder.com/hs-fs/file-21407088-jpg/images/horsefoot_cottage_from_bridge_cropped-resized-600.jpg) ![Horsefoot Cove cottage resized 600](https://info.capecodbuilder.com/hs-fs/file-21405354-jpg/images/horsefoot_cove_cottage-resized-600.jpg?width=210&height=185&name=horsefoot_cove_cottage-resized-600.jpg) ![Horsefoot Cottage cleared resized 600](https://info.capecodbuilder.com/hs-fs/file-21407153-jpg/images/horsefoot_cottage_cleared-resized-600.jpg?width=282&height=210&name=horsefoot_cottage_cleared-resized-600.jpg)                 ![Horsefoot decked resized 600](https://info.capecodbuilder.com/hs-fs/file-21407760-jpg/images/horsefoot_decked-resized-600.jpg?width=282&height=210&name=horsefoot_decked-resized-600.jpg)![describe the image](https://info.capecodbuilder.com/hs-fs/file-21407294-jpg/images/horsefoot_foundation-resized-600.jpg?width=234&height=174&name=horsefoot_foundation-resized-600.jpg) ![Horsefoot framed resized 600](https://info.capecodbuilder.com/hs-fs/file-21407833-jpg/images/horsefoot_framed-resized-600.jpg?width=294&height=219&name=horsefoot_framed-resized-600.jpg)![Horsefoot with REEF housewrap resized 600](https://info.capecodbuilder.com/hs-fs/file-21407879-jpg/images/horsefoot_with_reef_housewrap-resized-600.jpg?width=300&height=225&name=horsefoot_with_reef_housewrap-resized-600.jpg) ![Horsefoot framed from bridge resized 600](https://info.capecodbuilder.com/hs-fs/file-21407976-jpg/images/horsefoot_framed_from_bridge-resized-600.jpg) Tags: [cape cod waterfront homes](https://info.capecodbuilder.com/topic/cape-cod-waterfront-homes), [cape cod custom builders](https://info.capecodbuilder.com/topic/cape-cod-custom-builders), [waterfront homes](https://info.capecodbuilder.com/topic/waterfront-homes), [Cape Cod Design Build](https://info.capecodbuilder.com/topic/cape-cod-design-build) ### Subscribe to Email Updates Search Blog Search Google [Cape Cod Building CostsHow much does it cost per square foot to build on Cape Cod?
